Regulation

Brazil’s regulated fixed-odds betting market generated GGR of R$20.07bn in the first half of 2026, reportedly based on data obtained from the Finance Ministry’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting. The figure was 15.3% above the same period in 2025; the ministry said more than five million people were barred from betting or had opted out under the measures described.
