Brazil's provisional online gambling ban prompts Flutter and Entain outlook revisions

Regulation

Flutter and Entain said Brazil’s provisional online gambling ban could affect their 2026 results and revised their outlooks. Entain lowered its full-year online net gaming revenue growth forecast to 4%–6% and expects underlying earnings at the lower end of its previous £910 million to £960 million range. Flutter estimated a shutdown for the rest of 2026 would cut revenue by about $70 million and underlying earnings by approximately $20 million.

Operators must reassess Brazil’s contribution to revenue and earnings while the provisional measure awaits congressional approval.
