Brazil’s federal self-exclusion platform records 462,831 registrations
Brazil’s Finance Ministry’s Secretariat of Prizes and Bets recorded 462,831 self-exclusions on the federal online betting-blocking platform, according to a media report. Users can block access to all government-authorised betting sites for periods from one month to indefinite; 69.86% selected an indefinite block. The ministry did not say how many users completed their exclusion period and returned to betting platforms.
The registration and duration figures show the scale and terms of a federal self-exclusion tool affecting authorised betting operators.
