Brazil proposes age checks for gambling websites and apps
Brazilian authorities are drafting a proposal that would require websites and apps featuring or advertising gambling to verify users’ ages. The proposal would prohibit relying only on self-reported birth dates and includes limits on retaining or monitoring authentication data; officials are also considering a shared verification system.
