Bonn court orders Bet3000 operator to reimburse German betting losses
The Bonn Regional Court ruled that Bet3000 and its operator, IBA Entertainment, must reimburse a customer for online betting losses incurred between November 2019 and April 2022 after deposits exceeded the applicable limit. The court-set reimbursement is about €12,000, based on the complaint; the customer’s total losses were roughly €16,000.
The ruling exposes operators to reimbursement claims when customers deposit above the limit.
