Konstanz court orders PokerStars operator to repay €16,600 in player losses

Regulation

The Konstanz Regional Court ruled on 21 April 2026 that TSG Interactive Gaming Europe must repay a player about €16,600 in losses from online casino games and sports betting. The court said the operator lacked the German licence required during the period from July 2015 to October 2022, rendering the contracts void.

The ruling concerns operators’ potential liability for German customers’ losses where the required national licence was absent.
