Bolzano administrative court rejects two betting permit suspension requests

Bolzano’s Regional Administrative Court rejected two interim requests by a betting company challenging municipal findings that its authorisations had expired. The challenged permits concerned outlets with expiry dates of 31 December 2015 and 30 August 2023; the court said the appeals did not show sufficient grounds at this stage.

The ruling leaves the municipality’s expiry measures in force while the underlying cases proceed.

Campania regional administrative court upholds betting licence refusal in Torre Annunziata

The Campania Regional Administrative Court rejected a company's appeal against the refusal of a public security licence for a betting shop in Torre Annunziata. In its 26 October 2026 judgment, the court said the previous licence revocation had broken authorisation continuity; the shop was about 100 metres from a place of worship, against a 250-metre minimum under regional law and local rules.

The Campania Regional Administrative Court (TAR Campania) has rejected an appeal by a company against the refusal of a public security licence for a betting shop in Torre Annunziata, in the province of Naples. The judgment was published on 26 October 2026. The court confirmed the refusal, which was based on the revocation of the shop's previous authorisation and on the failure to meet the minimum distance from sensitive locations set by regional rules.
