BLIK payment blocks precede 20.6% rise in Poland iGaming search demand
Poland’s iGaming search-demand index rose 20.6% in the seven days to 20 September, according to Blask Index data. The measure had fallen after BLIK began blocking transactions to domains on the Finance Ministry’s illegal-gambling register on 1 September, then rose above its late-August level on 19 and 20 September. The index tracks search demand, not money flows to blocked domains.
The figures offer operators and regulators a measure of search attention around payment blocks, not betting flows.
