BetMGM said Super Bowl LIX was its most-bet event of 2025 by ticket count and handle. The operator also said the NFL occupied all of its ten most-bet events, while the Bills-Ravens game in September was the best event for customers.

Legal Sports Report and the Sports Betting Alliance forecast $1.7 billion in legal wagers on Super Bowl 60. Their projection identifies New York at $170.7 million and New Jersey at $160.6 million as the leading jurisdictions, and includes Missouri after its recent market launch. The alliance’s president said the forecast concerns wagers placed with legal, regulated sportsbooks.
Oregon players placed $8.4 million in Super Bowl wagers through Oregon Lottery’s DraftKings Sportsbook, the lottery said. The wagers generated more than $1.3 million in revenue, and the lottery recorded more than 450,000 bets at an average of $18.30.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported $59,275,463 in wagers on the 2026 Super Bowl in Pennsylvania, down 41.6% from the previous year. Revenue was $18,143,469, compared with a loss of $6,532,147 in the prior Super Bowl period; 90.6% of wagers were placed online.
Nevada’s Gaming Control Board reported that 186 sportsbooks handled $133.8 million in Super Bowl wagers, down from $151.6 million a year earlier and the lowest total in 10 years. Unaudited figures showed sportsbooks won $9.8 million, a 7.4% hold. Sportsbook executives cited prediction markets among several possible factors; Nevada regulators separately sought to stop Coinbase’s prediction-market products, and a federal judge issued a temporary 14-day restraining order.
NFL executive vice-president Jeff Miller said the league is monitoring prediction-market platforms, while raising concerns about game integrity and safeguards. He said the NFL expects to discuss the sector in the coming months and years, but is not rushing to engage with it. The report cites AGA projections of $1.76bn in legal Super Bowl wagering and says Kalshi reported more than $161m in trading on its Super Bowl winner contract.
