Atucha Strategic Advisory (ASA) will lead RTG Slots' commercial development across Latin America under a new partnership between the two companies. ASA will work with RTG's regional team on certification processes for individual markets, on partnerships with operators and platforms, and on a hero-titles programme focused on games with the strongest performance among Latin American players.
Mexico is the initial priority, followed by Argentina, Colombia and Peru. Plans for Brazil will remain suspended until there is greater clarity on the country's regulatory situation. RTG Slots holds licences from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) and the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), and the company says it is expanding its presence in new regulated markets, with Latin America among its main priorities.
RTG Slots' portfolio currently has more than 250 titles, with approximately 24 new games released per year and a network of more than 100 partner operators worldwide. The company says its games and mathematical models have already been used at scale for years, in contrast to studios that enter Latin America with entirely new content. The hero-titles programme is intended to identify RTG Slots titles with the strongest acceptance among Latin American players, which will then be part of a certification and distribution strategy adapted to each market rather than a single regional approach.
Ramiro Atucha, founder of Atucha Strategic Advisory, said RTG Slots has games that have already been used at scale for years in markets where a title's own performance is the only factor ensuring it remains available. He said ASA's work is to bring that catalogue to the region's regulated markets under the RTG Slots brand in the right order, adding that the team in São Paulo has already done important work and that ASA is there to turn that effort into certified content available on the platforms of the most relevant operators.
Jo Purvis, Chief Commercial Officer of RTG Slots, said Latin America is a priority for the company and that it wanted a partner with hands-on supplier-side experience rather than only consulting. Purvis said she has known Atucha for years and has worked with him on several projects, and that he has launched and expanded content companies in these markets and knows operators personally. Working with ASA alongside RTG's own regional team allows the company to move faster on certification processes and partnership development while it continues to focus on creating games, Purvis said.
