Betsson AB reported record third-quarter 2026 revenue of €326.5m, up 10% from €295.8m in the same period a year earlier, according to financial results published on 22 October. Organic growth was 8%. Net profit fell to €28.2m from €50.1m in Q3 2025, a decline of about 44%.
Casino revenue rose 14%, while sports betting revenue grew 1% with a margin of 8.1%, compared with 8.8% a year earlier. Quarterly EBITDA was €63.4m, down 23% from €82.5m in 2025, with the margin falling from 27.9% to 19.4%. EBIT fell 31% to €46.1m from €66.9m. Operating cash flow was €54.5m. Active B2C customers reached 1.9 million, from 1.3 million a year earlier.
For the first nine months of 2026, Betsson reported revenue of €922.1m, up 3% from €893.1m in the same period of 2025, with organic growth of 6%. EBITDA fell 30% to €171.8m and EBIT fell 39% to €122.3m. Net profit for the nine months was €84.1m, against €147.5m a year earlier.
Latin America drove growth, with revenue there up more than 50%. Chief executive Pontus Lindwall said Peru and Argentina again stood out for high customer activity and revenue growth, supported by marketing tied to the FIFA World Cup. He said the group's long-term investment in products, brands and market-specific marketing continued to strengthen its position in the region.
Lindwall said customer activity remained high during the quarter, supported by the FIFA World Cup and the start of the main European football leagues. Deposits and total wagers increased, and the number of active customers rose 40% to a new record. He said revenue also reached a quarterly record despite a sports betting margin significantly lower than in the second quarter, with growth driven by the casino segment.
In August the group completed the acquisition of Rhino Entertainment Group, which was subsequently consolidated into the quarterly results. At the end of September, Betsson strengthened its presence in Belgium through the rebranding of operator betFIRST. Lindwall said the Rhino acquisition had contributed positively to revenue and profit in the quarter and strengthened geographic and commercial diversification.
On products, the group continued investment in proprietary technology and its sports betting offering, introducing new features for betting during extra time in football matches and content dedicated to teams and players. It also launched Gates of Inter, a casino game developed exclusively for Betsson with graphics inspired by its Inter sponsorship, the third title produced under the group's sports partnerships after those dedicated to Boca Juniors and Atlético Nacional.
Lindwall said EBIT of €46m was higher than in the previous quarter and the operating margin improved slightly despite the significantly lower sports betting margin. He said that after another quarter of record revenue, improved operating profit and a positive start to October, the group looks to a busy end of the year, with initiatives planned to improve the entertainment experience and customer engagement, and that it considers itself positioned to return to profit growth.
