Arizona Department of Gaming awards nine limited-event betting licences

Licences & markets

Arizona’s Department of Gaming awarded nine limited-event betting licences to operators at racetracks and off-track betting sites in the Phoenix area, reportedly involving partners of American Wagering and Skyfall 7. The licences cover in-person sports betting only; the award itself does not authorise the venues to accept bets, and the department said it would work with licence holders on next steps.

Operators must complete further steps before the licensed venues can accept sports bets.
