Alberta iGaming Corporation mandates RG Check for registered platforms
The Alberta iGaming Corporation and the Responsible Gambling Council said all registered online gambling platforms in Alberta will have to obtain RG Check accreditation. Existing accreditation from other jurisdictions will be recognised to streamline the process, but a separate Alberta accreditation will still be required; the timing was due for discussion at an industry engagement in early March.
Operators entering Alberta will need separate RG Check accreditation, with existing credentials recognised to reduce administrative work.
