Alberta awards Brick House CA$2.4 million for gambling treatment
Alberta committed CA$2.4 million to Brick House Recovery Centre, the first recipient selected under the province's iGaming social-responsibility programme. Brick House will provide four weeks of outpatient treatment and up to eight weeks of aftercare, with in-person services in Edmonton and Calgary and virtual care across Alberta; the province said it would select further providers later in the autumn.
Alberta’s funding supports outpatient treatment and aftercare, with in-person and virtual services for people seeking gambling-related help.
