AGCO restricts gambling advertising aimed at minors and at-risk players

Regulation

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) standards prohibit gambling marketing from targeting minors, people at high risk of harm or self-excluded players. The rules also require advertising to be truthful and bar claims that lottery play is a solution to financial or personal problems.

Operators and suppliers must review advertising content and placement against restrictions on minors and at-risk players.
