ANJ algorithm links €1.2bn in H2 2025 GGR to high-risk players
France’s ANJ said its algorithm identified about 600,000 high-risk players in the second half of 2025, representing 8.7% of registered accounts. The group generated €1.2bn in gross gaming revenue, or 60% of the total; the regulator expects operators to act on the 300,000 players it classifies as clearly excessive.
Operators face pressure to act on clearly excessive players identified by the ANJ’s algorithm.
