Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission issued Standardbred driver Louis-Philippe Roy a $5,000 penalty on 30 October 2026 for breaching Rule 6.20(b), according to ruling 3955337. The regulator said the action followed broadcast comments from Woodbine Mohawk Park that questioned race officials’ integrity; Roy may appeal to the Horse Racing Appeal Panel.

The ruling sets a conduct penalty for a licensed racing participant while preserving an appeal route.
