Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) proposed a 60-day suspension of St. Louis Bar & Grill’s liquor sales licence in Toronto after an investigation into a customer’s death following a fall. The AGCO said the customer was served 14 23-ounce beers over about five and a half hours, equivalent to more than 21 standard drinks, and alleged the bar continued service after the customer became intoxicated. The licensee has 15 days to appeal the proposal to the Licence Appeal Tribunal.

The proposal concerns alleged over-service and sets out a 15-day window for the bar to challenge the action.
