AGCO fines FanDuel CA$350,000 over Ontario table tennis betting

Enforcement & compliance

Ontario's Alcohol and Gaming Commission fined FanDuel CA$350,000 for failing to identify and report suspicious betting on Czech Table Tennis Star Series matches. The regulator said the operator accepted 144 bets from three Ontario accounts between 23 October and 30 November 2024, and said betting continued for several weeks; FanDuel disputed the action and said it had reported its suspicions.

The fine highlights suspicious-betting reporting obligations, while FanDuel disputes the regulator’s action.
