ADM says Italian rules require operators to use AI for risk detection
At IGE 2026, ADM director Mario Lollobrigida said Italian rules already require concessionaires to use AI systems to identify problematic gambling behaviour. He said ADM had assessed concessionaires’ responsible-gambling proposals and was preparing guidance on measures for all concessionaires, with publication planned as soon as possible.
The stated requirement and planned guidance concern the technology and safeguards gambling concessionaires must apply in Italy.
