ADM requests withdrawal of Lega Serie A gambling campaign video

Regulation

Italy’s Customs and Monopolies Agency requested the withdrawal of a Lega Serie A campaign video using the hashtag #GIOCASICURO, according to the account cited by Fondazione FAIR. FAIR argued that presenting verified statistics as making bets safer could blur the distinction between data quality and player protection; Lega Serie A defended official data as a strategic asset.

The dispute highlights scrutiny of sports communications that may conflate verified data with player protection.

He said he had hoped to bring a ready resolution to the forum but that the signature process was still under way, and that publication of the text was expected in the coming days.
