Italy's Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) said it will open online procedures for renewing enrolment in the RIES register for 2027 from 2 November 2026, with a deadline of 20 January 2027. The agency said applications must be submitted through its institutional portal, according to a notice issued on 27 October by its Games Directorate – Amusement Machines Office.
The RIES register, provided for by article 1, paragraph 82, of law 220/2010, covers parties operating in the cash-win amusement machines supply chain. ADM said renewal must be completed by 20 January 2027; from the following day only the list of those enrolled for the new year will be available on the institutional site. Operators that do not renew will no longer appear in the published list and will be unable to enter into contractual relations with third parties until they complete a new enrolment.
New enrolment applications for 2026 can still be submitted until 31 December 2026, while new enrolments for 2027 can be made from 1 January. Access to the online procedures requires authentication in the reserved area of the ADM site via SPID, electronic identity card (CIE) or national services card (CNS). Users must also request, through the single authorisation form (MAU) available in the "Mio Profilo" section, the authorisation named "Funzionalità Telematiche Apparecchi Comma6" (dlr_funzionalita_app_c6). The service is reached through "Interattivi" – "Giochi" – "Servizi telematici apparecchi con vincita in denaro ed Elenco dei Soggetti".
The annual enrolment fee is €150. From 2 November, PagoPA will be available for paying it, alongside the existing F24 method with tax code 5216; the operator chooses between the two options within the online procedure. If PagoPA is selected, the system generates the debt position automatically and the request remains in "awaiting payment" status until the payment is completed, which can be done through the direct link to the PagoPA platform in the "Richieste" section of the reserved area.
ADM also introduced a function allowing gaming-card producers to complete RIES enrolment and accreditation to the producers' register at the same time. From 2 November, those concerned can carry out both steps through a single procedure by filling in a specific questionnaire in the dedicated section, with validation of the information by the territorially competent ADM office. Once accreditation is confirmed, the system sends a notification to technology partner Sogei, which prepares the test smartcards and reserved protocols. The function can also be used by producers already enrolled to modify or update information in the database; in years after the first, previously entered data will be resubmitted for confirmation or updating, while the identification codes assigned to producers remain unchanged. The information remains available in both applications.
ADM said operational instructions are available in guides published on the institutional site, and that operators can call 800.217.213 for assistance with the online procedures.
