ADM circular sets PVR monitoring for Italy’s €100 weekly online account top-up limit

Regulation

A report interpreting Italy’s Customs and Monopolies Agency circular said the €100 weekly cap applies to cash or untraceable top-ups made at points of sale for online accounts (PVRs), not to bets placed at retail betting shops. The circular sets 13 May 2026 for the PACG communications protocol to begin transmitting top-up messages and extends certification of the concessionaire system to 13 November 2026.

The distinction clarifies that the weekly cap concerns online-account top-ups at PVRs, not retail betting-shop wagers.
