The TAR Veneto ordered the Municipality of Arzignano and Italy’s Interior Ministry to pay a betting operator €5,000, plus legal interest, for losses caused by a delayed opening. The court rejected claims for rent, utilities and reputational damage, and found no compensable liability on the part of Veneto region.
