- New Mexico files suit against Kalshi over alleged unlicensed sports betting
New Mexico’s Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against Kalshi and KalshiEX, alleging that the platform offered sports event contracts to state residents without a gaming licence. The suit also alleges that people aged 18 to 20 could participate despite the state’s minimum gaming age of 21; the claims have not been adjudicated.
