Lithuanian government approves gambling reforms for parliamentary review

Lithuania’s government approved amendments to gambling and anti-money-laundering laws, the report said. The proposals would require player cards, phase out cash payments at gambling venues and expand the gambling authority’s powers; the Seimas must approve them before they take effect. Some oversight and administrative changes are scheduled to begin on 1 May 2027.
