Lithuanian government approves gambling reforms for parliamentary review

Regulation

Lithuania’s government approved amendments to gambling and anti-money-laundering laws, the report said. Some oversight and administrative changes are scheduled to begin on 1 May 2027.

Operators may need to prepare for player identification, cash-payment restrictions and expanded regulatory oversight if parliament approves the proposals.
