Yaspa joins UNLV gaming institute’s AI Research Hub as founding member

Yaspa said on 2 February 2026 that it had joined the University of Nevada, Las Vegas International Gaming Institute’s AI Research Hub as a founding member. Yaspa said its in-house AI expertise would support the Hub’s research, and its vice-president of product, Max Collinge, would join the advisory panel. The Hub’s flagship project is an annual report on AI use and policy in gaming.

The Hub’s research will examine AI maturity and regulatory developments relevant to gambling companies and policymakers.

AGEM Index rises 16.4% to a record 2,108.59 points in October

The AGEM Index rose 16.4% in October to 2,108.59 points, its highest level in the tracked history, according to an announcement. All nine constituent companies recorded share-price gains; Konami contributed the largest increase, adding 150.45 points after its share price rose 23.3%.

The AGEM Index, a gauge of selected global gaming equipment suppliers' shares, gained 16.4 percent during October compared with the month before. The index reached 2,108.59 points after adding 297.58 points, and a Thursday announcement said this "marked the highest AGEM Index in tracked history".
