Westside Resort selected IDX’s X-Trend display system for 250 gaming tables at its Manila property, according to a company announcement. The resort is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2026, with the system forming part of its initial configuration.
The selection establishes IDX as a supplier for the resort’s planned table operations.

Travellers International Hotel Group, operator of Newport World Resorts, reported 2025 net gaming revenue of PHP24.2 billion, up 4%, in results released by parent Alliance Global Group. Attributable profit increased 21% to PHP1.5 billion, while hotel and other non-gaming revenue fell 4% to PHP7.6 billion.
PhilWeb has agreed to provide technology and operational services for Newport World Resorts’ NWPRPlay platform, the company said in a Philippine Stock Exchange disclosure on 6 April. The partnership with Travellers International Hotel Group remains subject to regulatory approvals and is PhilWeb’s third such agreement in recent weeks.
It was reported that Travellers International’s second-quarter attributable profit reached PHP568m. EBITDA increased 13% to PHP4.4bn, with non-VIP gaming and non-gaming activity offsetting weaker VIP operations.
It was reported that Travellers International introduced the NWR Play online casino. PhilWeb supplies technology, compliance support and customer-service infrastructure, with Pragmatic Play games included through its distribution arrangement.
Asia Pioneer Entertainment said it is seeking distributor licences in Abu Dhabi and Singapore for electronic gaming equipment sales to casinos. The company reported 2025 revenue of HK$65.8m, up 29.7%, and net profit of HK$6.1m, up 60.5%.
