Bee Macau begins casino card and dealing-shoe production in Macau

Bee Macau began full-scale production of Bee 68 playing cards and the Bee Click-Shoe at its Macau factory in early May, with an inauguration ceremony held later, according to the company. The joint venture between Cartamundi Group and Asia Pioneer Entertainment involves an investment of around HKD500 million; its products are intended for international distribution.

The joint venture adds a Macau manufacturing base for casino cards and dealing equipment.

France's competition authority approves Banijay's Joa acquisition without conditions

France's competition authority has approved Banijay's planned acquisition of casino operator Joa without conditions. The review, the authority's first of a gambling transaction spanning online and land-based operations, focused mainly on poker and concluded that the deal was unlikely to restrict competition. The authority said its assessment did not account for possible future legalisation of online casino games.
