Washington commission agrees proposed Squaxin Island gaming compact amendment
The Washington State Gambling Commission reached a tentative agreement with the Squaxin Island Tribe on a proposed amendment to its Class III gaming compact. The proposal would allow electronic table games and credit, remove per-facility limits and raise wagering caps, including to $5,000 on some tables after customer screening; the commission was scheduled to vote on 12 February 2026.
The proposal could change permitted games, credit practices and wager limits for the tribe's gaming operations.
