Vietnamese police arrest seven in alleged soccer betting and lottery ring

Vietnamese police said they arrested at least seven people in raids on eight addresses in central Vietnam over an alleged illegal soccer betting and lottery operation. Investigators said the group accumulated around $800,000 in less than six months and that prosecutors were expected to indict the suspects; the investigation was continuing.
