Belarus police arrest five people in alleged online casino and migration scheme

Belarus’s Ministry of Internal Affairs said it arrested five people in an investigation into alleged illegal migration and online casino activity. The ministry said two foreign nationals allegedly used bogus IT firms as cover, while three accomplices helped arrange companies and residency documents for at least 40 foreign passport holders; the investigation continues.

The case concerns alleged online casino promotion and migration activity, with authorities still seeking further suspects.
