VGCCC sets out AI and data plans in three-year gambling strategy
Victoria’s gambling regulator, the VGCCC, said its Strategy 2029 will expand its use of technology, data and predictive analysis to identify gambling risks earlier. It expects benefits from technology and data investments in fiscal 2027–28, with improved data collection and risk targeting expected by fiscal 2028–29.
The strategy signals greater use of data and predictive tools in the VGCCC’s oversight and harm-minimisation work.
