US House advances greyhound racing and betting ban in farm bill

Regulation

The US House approved the Farm, Food and National Security Act of 2026 with the Greyhound Protection Act of 2025 included, according to the report. The Senate would need to act before the proposal becomes law.

Operators and suppliers may need to prepare for a nationwide prohibition if the Senate acts and the measure becomes law.
