University of Amsterdam researchers release player-risk algorithm for regulators
Researchers at the University of Amsterdam have released an open-source algorithm to estimate risky online casino behaviour. The Netherlands’ Kansspelautoriteit intends to use it to calculate player risk scores and compare them with scores used by gambling providers.
The tool gives regulators a public method to assess player-risk scores and providers’ duty-of-care compliance.
