Underdog withdraws from Missouri sports betting licence

Licences & markets

Underdog Sports withdrew from Missouri’s sports betting market shortly before regulated wagering began on 1 December, according to the report. The company instead launched sports prediction markets in the state with Crypto.com; Missouri Gaming Commission executive director Mike Leara said the market is not regulated in the same way as traditional sports betting.

Underdog’s choice shifts its Missouri activity from a state sports betting licence to prediction markets.
