Underdog said it acquired Aristotle Exchange DCM and Aristotle Exchange DCO, which are registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The company said the deal will allow it to offer sports and other event contracts through its own exchange.

Gemini announced a partnership with Apex Fintech Solutions on 24 August, under which Gemini will be the exclusive listing venue for cryptocurrency event contracts distributed by Apex’s Futures Commission Merchant to brokerage customers. The companies did not disclose financial terms.

The CFTC and NHL signed a memorandum of understanding to share information and coordinate on the integrity of professional hockey and related event contracts on CFTC-regulated exchanges. The agreement provides for designated representatives to discuss integrity issues, exchange information confidentially and maintain communication channels.
