Ukraine orders internet providers to block Polymarket

Ukraine ordered internet service providers to block Polymarket and other websites deemed unlawful gambling, following an order approved by the National Commission for State Regulation of Electronic Communications. PlayCity said Polymarket facilitated trading on outcomes of the Russia-Ukraine war and classified the platform as illegal gambling.

The order makes Polymarket inaccessible through Ukrainian internet providers while other named prediction markets remain available.

Gemini and Apex plan crypto prediction-market brokerage distribution deal

Gemini and Apex Fintech Solutions signed a letter of intent to distribute Gemini’s crypto event contracts to brokerage customers. Under the proposed arrangement, Gemini Titan would be the exclusive CFTC-regulated venue for crypto contracts offered through Apex’s Futures Commission Merchant, while other contract categories could be developed on a non-exclusive basis.
