UK Gambling Commission requires immediate removal of non-compliant machines from July
The UK Gambling Commission said operators must immediately remove a gaming machine if notified that its manufacture, supply, installation, modification, maintenance or repair breached a valid technical operating licence or other applicable rules. The requirement takes effect on 29 July 2026. The change follows the Commission’s third consultation on proposals linked to the 2023 gambling white paper.
Land-based operators will need to remove notified non-compliant machines immediately from 29 July 2026.
