UAFE will deploy Palantir platform to monitor Ecuador sports-betting transactions
Ecuador’s UAFE will deploy a Palantir data-analysis platform from January 2027 to identify suspicious transactions linked to sports betting. Public administration secretary José Julio Neira said the measure supports the government’s regulated approach, while authorised operators must maintain risk-prevention systems, appoint compliance officers and register with the regulator.
Operators will need to account for enhanced transaction monitoring alongside existing compliance requirements.
