Tuberville backs Alabama gambling vote but calls for a single package

Alabama gubernatorial nominee Tommy Tuberville said he would not oppose legal gambling if elected on 3 November, but wants a comprehensive package developed with the governor’s office. He said the issue should go to voters in a referendum and estimated preparation would take about a year; the 2027 legislative session opens on 2 February.
