TaDa Gaming agreed to supply its catalogue of more than 240 titles to ZonaGioco in Italy, the companies said. The games will be integrated through Octavian Lab, and the offering will include fish-shooting games for ZonaGioco for the first time.

The Guardia di Finanza in Rome seized more than €25m in assets while investigating five former employees of a gaming concessionaire over alleged scratchcard fraud. Prosecutors allege that the former employees used confidential information to identify four winning tickets, worth €7m each for two tickets and €5m each for the other two. A judge will decide whether the precautionary measures remain in place.
Turin police and other authorities inspected 20 public venues during an operation launched on 21 September in Borgo Aurora and nearby areas. The checks resulted in administrative fines totalling more than €28,000, with reported violations including rules on gaming machines, hygiene requirements and unauthorised outdoor seating; the police said the operation would continue in the coming weeks.
Italy’s Ministry of Economy and Finance reported more than €3.5bn in state receipts from gambling taxes and duties between January and July 2026. The ministry’s Treasury summary attributed more than €2.8bn to taxes on gaming machines, alongside receipts from betting, bingo, lotteries and other gambling-related sources.
Reportedly, Francesco Rodano, Playtech’s sustainable gambling chief, will leave the supplier after more than 10 years. Rodano joined Playtech from Italy’s gaming regulator ADM.
Italy’s ADM reported more than 21 million active online gambling accounts in 2024 in its Libro Blu report. The 25–34 age group had the most active accounts, at 5,677,859, while the 18–24 group recorded the most new accounts, at 1,607,552. The report said online gambling remained a substantial part of the public gambling market after overtaking retail during the pandemic.
