The Swedish government appointed Peter Knutsson as director general and head of the Swedish Gambling Authority, reportedly on 27 March 2026. His contract runs until August 2032.

It was reported that Dan Taylor will replace Peter Jackson as Flutter’s chief executive on 1 October. Jackson leaves the role on 30 September and will advise the company through year-end.
Stefano De Vita, director general of Fondazione FAIR, said Italy should complete its land-based gambling reform by 29 August 2026.
