FAIR director urges Italy to complete land-based gambling reform by 29 August
Stefano De Vita, director general of Fondazione FAIR, said Italy should complete its land-based gambling reform by 29 August 2026. He argued that leaving the physical network under fragmented national, regional and municipal rules would widen the gap with the reformed online market, while reform should balance public health, prevention, enforcement and legal-market sustainability.
