Sweden appoints Erik Eldhagen to state secretary role overseeing gambling regulation
Sweden’s government appointed Erik Eldhagen as a state secretary responsible for gambling regulation, supporting Financial Markets Minister Niklas Wykman. He will also oversee financial markets, state properties and financing for new nuclear power, and is due to start on 1 December, the government said.
The appointment places gambling regulation among Eldhagen’s state secretary responsibilities alongside financial markets and other government areas.
