Spain’s addiction policy chief backs gambling advertising regulation

Xisca Sureda, Spain’s government delegate for the National Plan on Drugs, praised gambling advertising regulation during her first appearance before the joint commission on addiction issues, according to a report. She said the measure had had a positive impact and identified online gambling among young people as an area requiring further work; a new national strategy and action plan are due to address behavioural addictions.
