South Korea police record 512 youth gambling reports in second month
South Korea’s National Police Agency received 512 reports of youth online gambling in the second month of its nationwide reporting programme, according to data cited in media reports. That was 74% more than the 294 reports in the first month; 806 reports were recorded from 18 May to mid-July. The programme is scheduled to run until 31 August.
The report totals and programme deadline give authorities and operators a measure of reported youth gambling and the current response period.
