Slovakia’s gambling regulator signs digital games prevention memorandum

Slovakia’s gambling regulator ÚRHH signed a cooperation memorandum with the Digital Games Department at the University of St Cyril and Methodius in Trnava on 21 August 2026. The agreement provides for exchanging expertise, monitoring digital gaming trends and developing prevention activities to protect young people.
The memorandum may inform prevention work on gaming features the regulator says can expose young people to gambling-related risks.
