Giancarlo Fisichella, a former Formula 1 driver, is scheduled to appear as a guest at SiGMA World 2026, which is due to run from 2 to 5 November at the Fiera di Roma, according to the programme announced by SiGMA. His participation is planned for Tuesday 3 November. The organisers announced the appearance without stating a commercial partnership with a gambling operator.
According to the announced programme, Fisichella will visit the Italy Pavilion in Hall 5, where a Ferrari 296 GT competition car is to be displayed. He is to meet attendees, take part in a padel session and a go-kart experience, and attend photography and autograph sessions, including one for the volume FI Opus.
Fisichella contested more than 230 Formula 1 Grands Prix, taking three wins, before moving to endurance racing with Ferrari, where he took two class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He is also an Ambassador Driver for Ferrari and takes part in public initiatives, including road safety awareness campaigns.
The source also cites the participation of former footballer Marco Materazzi, whose programme includes meetings with the public, autographs and sporting activities as a testimonial for a company. It reports that the announced participation of a testimonial or global ambassador of an exhibiting company, or a figure from an advertisement, has in the past drawn a reaction from some, and that promoters have asked organisers to set clear criteria for selecting ambassadors and high-profile guests.
